REMEMBER TO DISINFECT & CLEAN YOUR CUTTING BOARDS

Cutting board is an important item to be kept clean before, during, and after food preparation. If not cleaned and maintained properly, cutting boards can hold harmful bacteria and spread food poisoning. Follow these tips to disinfect and clean your cutting boards.

  1. To disinfect your cutting board, use a fresh solution of 1 tablespoon of unscented, liquid chlorine bleach with a gallon of water.
  2. Flood the surface with the bleach solution and allow it to stand for several minutes.
  3. Rinse with water and air dry or pat dry with clean paper towels.

These will keep your board clean and bacteria-free!
