Please review these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing or using a Hero Gift Card, you agree to these terms.

1. Usage

The Hero Gift Card may be used as a payment method at participating HeroMarket and Hero Save Mart outlets only. By presenting the Gift Card at the cashier counter, it will be accepted as payment for eligible purchases. The Gift Card is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash, either wholly or partially, and cannot be returned once sold.

The Hero Gift Card is non-reloadable, and the stored value cannot be transferred to another card or account. If the total purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card value, the remaining balance must be settled using other payment methods accepted by HeroMarket at the time of transaction.

The Gift Card should be handled with care, as it is treated similarly to cash. The bearer of a valid Gift Card shall be deemed the rightful holder, and no registration is required. Possession of the Gift Card constitutes ownership.
The Hero Gift Card is not a credit, debit, or loyalty card. Any remaining balance will not be refunded under any circumstances, including loss, theft, or damage of the Gift Card.

Gift Cards that are defaced, altered, duplicated, damaged, torn, or otherwise rendered unreadable will be deemed invalid and will not be replaced or refunded.

2. Redemption

The Hero Gift Card is valid for one (1) transaction only. Any unused balance after the transaction will be forfeited. Multiple Hero Gift Cards may be used in a single transaction.

The Gift Card can only be redeemed in-store and is not valid for online purchases or third-party platforms.

3. Risk & Responsibility
The Hero Gift Card is used at the bearer’s own risk. HeroMarket shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorised use of the Gift Card. No replacement, refund, or balance recovery will be provided for lost or stolen Gift Cards.

4. Denominations & Purchase
Hero Gift Cards are sold in RM50 and RM100 only at all participating HeroMarket and Hero Save Mart outlets

Hero Gift Cards may only be purchased using accepted payment methods. The use of an existing Gift Card to purchase another Gift Card is not permitted, to prevent extension of the validity period.

5. Replacement

Replacement of a Hero Gift Card is not allowed, except in cases of verified manufacturing or technical defects. Any request for replacement must be supported by the original receipt and the defective Gift Card. HeroMarket reserves the right to reject replacement requests that do not meet these requirements.

6. Activation & Validity
Activation of the Hero Gift Card is required and can be completed via the (1) HeroMarket website (2) mobile app, or (3) customer service counter and will process the activation within 24 hours. The Gift Card is valid for one (1) year from the date of activation. Upon expiry, any remaining balance will be forfeited, and no extension, refund, or renewal will be permitted.

7. Fraud & Misuse
HeroMarket reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or terminate any Gift Card suspected of fraudulent activity, misuse, or violation of these terms. The Gift Card remains the property of HeroMarket at all times.

8. Program Changes
HeroMarket reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue the Hero Gift Card programme or its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any Gift Cards issued prior to discontinuation shall remain valid until their respective expiry dates.
